This colorful cloths from Foekje Fleur are made from industrial leftovers!
The Odds & Ends multi-cloth is specially designed to give leftover yarns a second life. When dyeing yarns for textile production, extra quantities are often dyed, just to be sure. However, these leftovers often remain unused, Foekje Fleur makes beautiful kitchen textiles from them, resulting in unique and surprising color combinations.
Thanks to the handy size of 30x30 cm and the loop, the cloths are perfect as a guest towel or even as a beautiful dishcloth. So beautiful that you almost don't want to use them!
- material: 100% cotton in a heavy quality of 370 gr/m2
– size: 30x30 cm
- made in Portugal
- set of 2 multi-cloths in yellow/green/blue/red/pink/orange.
The design is called Wild Weave; it refers to the original process of weaving on a loom and to the 'good old' checked tea towel.
The cloths are packaged as a set of 2 with a beautiful cover designed by Rachel Sender, so also very nice as a gift and can be combined with a Bubble Buddy soap dish.
Foekje Fleur's attractive and colorful designs seem playful at first glance, but are in fact inspired by serious topics such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
