he Odds & Ends kitchen towel is specially designed to give leftover yarns a second life. When dyeing yarns for textile production, extra quantities are often dyed, just to be sure. However, these leftovers often remain unused, Foekje Fleur makes beautiful kitchen textiles from them, resulting in unique and surprising color combinations.
- material: 100% cotton in a heavy quality of 380 gr/m2
– size: 50x50 cm
- made in Portugal
- colour: pink, oranje, green, blue
The design is called Wild Weave; it refers to the original process of weaving on a loom and to the 'good old' checked tea towel. The towel has one side made entirely of terry cloth and one side that is partially flat woven, creating a beautiful surface that dries quickly and is suitable as a kitchen towel, tea towel, or for the bathroom.
The Odds & Ends kitchen towel #36 has a beautiful hang tag designed by Rachel Sender, so also nice as a gift and can be combined with a Bubble Buddy soap dish.
Foekje Fleur's attractive and colorful designs seem playful at first glance, but are in fact inspired by serious topics such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
