Waterworks from House of Thol is a system that makes caring for indoor plants very easy. The system consists of a partially glazed terracotta stake and glass reservoir in a beautiful gift box.

Pushed into the ground, the terracotta stake transmits moisture through its porous walls to the surrounding soil, ensuring a continuous gradual release of water. Because there is a vacuum at the top of the reservoir, the release is very gradual and a natural relationship with the moisture requirement of the plant arises: in a plant that extracts moisture from the soil more quickly, the reservoir also empties a little faster.

The terracotta stakes are glazed to three different heights, for plants with different water needs: medium is the most commonly used and is suitable for most houseplants; large, has a larger porous surface and therefore a faster release of water; and small, with only a small porous tip and slow flow of the moisture.

The stakes may also fit on a bottle, so if the reservoir should break unexpectedly, you can easily 'hack' a bottle into a new reservoir.
