When factories dye yarns to weave textiles, they often make extra – just in case – but these often go unused. This Odds & Ends beach towel is designed to make the most of these leftovers, creating beautiful and unexpected colour combinations. The beach towel is woven on a jacquard loom and made from extra heavy cotton.

Tinted Glasses is based on the lenses of tinted glasses that overlap and create a new, mixed color. The warp contains two colors that are used separately for the lenses, but also mix where they overlap. To create a tactile and visual experience that reinforces the concept, the design has 3 terry layers: a short, a high and a flat one.

Please note: This towel is made with long, fluffy terry loops, which adds extra softness. These loops are fragile when new, so avoid contact with jewelry or belts. If a loop does form, do not pull it, but simply cut it off with a sharp pair of scissors.

The attractive and colourful designs of Foekje Fleur seem playful at first sight, but are in fact inspired by serious subjects such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
