Sometimes they come across bottles at Foekje Fleur that are so beautiful that they have to get a place in the collection. Like this new bottle vase #23. With the bottle vases Foekje Fleur tries to give more attention to the growing problem of litter and the plastic soup in our oceans.

This vase is handmade in Portugal. The plastic bottles are used to make molds. Pigmented liquid porcelain is poured into the molds, leaving a thin layer that forms the shape. After drying, the inside of the bottle is glazed lead-free and fired.

The bottle vases are made of biscuit porcelain and have a matte finish on the outside that looks like plastic. The inside of the porcelain Bottle Vase #23 is glazed to make it waterproof and suitable as a vase. Beautifully packaged in a cardboard box, with a small brochure, this bottle vase by Foekje Fleur is also a beautiful gift.

After using the vase, wash the bottle with mild soap, warm water and a brush. Let it dry on a clean towel. Grease stains can be removed by rubbing in mild soap, leaving it overnight and cleaning as described above. Always store this bottle indoors and in a dry place, as moisture can build up on the outside over time. You can also store liquids in the bottle. Then seal the bottle vase with a cork.

The attractive and colourful designs of Foekje Fleur seem playful at first sight, but are in fact inspired by serious subjects such as environmental pollution and threats to wildlife. With this they want to create more awareness for these themes.
