Waterworks by House of Thol is a system that makes caring for houseplants very easy. The system consists of a partially glazed terracotta stake and glass reservoir in a beautiful gift box.

Pushed into the ground, the terracotta stake releases moisture through its porous walls to the surrounding soil, which ensures a continuous, gradual release of water. Because there is a vacuum at the top of the reservoir, the release is very gradual and a natural relationship is created with the moisture requirement of the plant: with a plant that extracts moisture from the soil more quickly, the reservoir also empties a little faster.

The terracotta stakes are glazed in three different heights, for plants with different watering needs: medium is the most commonly used and is suitable for most houseplants; large, has a larger porous surface and therefore has a faster release of water; and small, with only a small porous tip and slow flow of moisture.

The stakes can also fit on a bottle, so if the reservoir unexpectedly breaks, you can easily 'hack' a bottle into a new reservoir.
