Collection: lilibo
Lil Libo was born and raised in the mountains of mainland China, where she grew up in a small village, climbing trees, and playing in the local kimchi pottery factory. After graduating with a Master's degree in Fine Arts and a major in ceramics, she was determined to establish a studio to create objects rich in tradition and history, yet functional and fun—the kind of work that can make people smile.
Lilibo is inspired by the inseparable and intimate relationship between a bonsai tree and its pot: a bond as close as that between lovers, families, friends, or even that between humans and our Mother Earth.
The most unique aspect of her Bonsai cups is that their shapes are designed to nest perfectly, creating a complete bonsai. It's practical, surprising, playful, and romantic.
Lilibo collaborates with small porcelain factories in Dehua and Jingdezhen, renowned for over 1,000 years for its "Blanc de Chine" porcelain. The workers there are treated well and work in a clean and hygienic environment. They also pay close attention to craftsmanship and deliver exquisite, high-quality porcelain.
